I-Fest is the largest conference of young scientists in the world, which this year was attended by more than 1000 students from 40 countries. They submitted 450 projects in 11 sections.
The Georgian team, which was entirely composed of Georgian-American high school students, was a great success.
Georgian students presented 2 projects in the mathematics section.
1. Loci Using Three Fixed Points-Mariam Anasashvili and Giorgi GogiaShvili
2. Generalization of Van Schooten's Theorem-Ana Andghuladze and Mari Okujava
Both projects won gold medals!
Two gold medals in one section - this is the first time in the history of Georgia!
In general, only representatives of 11 countries received gold medals.
