Within the framework of project, four grade students of the Georgian American High School led by teachers Julieta Kapanadze and Tamar Lomidze visited the German village of Elisabethal.
At the beginning of the 19th century German colonists arrived in Tbilisi and established several villages. They liked Georgian land and experienced economic prosperity. They mainly pursued wine production potato growing cattle breeding and handicrafts.
The students got acquainted with the history of the German minority on Georgia with great interest. They visited different streets houses german church and observed the differences between the German and Georgian villages and presented their impressions in the form of a presentation.
