The International Science and Engineering Fair for students is held in the United States every year. In 2005 the 65th championship took place in Phoenix, Arizona on May 8th-14th. The Georgian delegation went there for the first time. The members of the delegation were:
1. Tornike Mosiashvili (GAHS)
2. Lasha Margishvili (GAHS)
3. Nickoloz Maghaldadze (#42 physical-mathematical school)
The 14 444 students from different countries took part in that championship. They competed with each other in 14 different sections. The jury was formed from the leading scientists of the world. There were 16 Noble prize winners among them. 
The speech of our team was very successful Lasha Margishvili's work (# MA 002), got the highest prize of the mathematical union. He got 1000$ and an invitation from Arizona University.
T. Mosiashvili and N. Maghaldadze's works deserved special reward.
After the success in Arizona, Georgia was invited to the world championship in Indianapolis the next year.
