The championship of young scientists is held in different countries of Europe every year. Georgia was the host of this championship in 2002. It was the first time when the pupils of our school Principal Mamuka Meskhishvili took place in the championship and were awarded with I and II prizes.
17-24 April in 2004 the eleventh championship of Europe among the young scientists was held in Nijmegen in the Netherlands. The young scientists competed in the section of mathematics, physics, informatics and ecology. The pupils of GAHS and the school named by I/ Vekua took part in this competition and they won in the section of mathematics and informatics. Koki Glonti – the pupil of our school succeeded in mathematics and Nana Lemonjava from Vekuas’school won in informatics. Because of this success our school got the direct invitation to the next championship of Europe.
