Georgian Students have been successful in different international conferences, as well as in regional and republican ones for many years. They haven't had a chance to participate in INTEL conferences, yearly held in the USA, yet though.

INTEL ISEF (International Engineering and Science Fair) is the greatest inetrational conference granting students with 3000 000 USD as awards. The highest money award, 50 000 USD, is given to the winner student in order for him to receive higher education abroad. The best projects from each section receives 5 000 USD while the school and the regional organizing company who of the winner is awarded with 1000. The winner students are awarded with latest computers. Some lucky participants will be able to attend Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony while the others will have the opportunity to participate in European Scientific week yearly held in London.

Many specialist from different scientific spheres are invited in order to discuss the participant projects. Each member of jury has got Ph.D. and at least 6 years of working experience in the discipline they are in charge of.

The winner students are honored to be awarded by Nasa and American Military Forces, as well as different universities.

In order to be allowed to participate in the final contest, the project must win in INTEL ISEF regional contest. These regional contests were previously held in Russia and Kazakhistan only (among former USSR countries). Since 2005, these types of contests have been held in Georgia as well.

Georgian-American High school, as a result of successful achievements in the international conferences, has gained the right to carry out regional contests in Georgia.

The support from American councils and Ms. Emy Macgoldric, the chairwoman, must be mentioned as one of the basic factors as well.

Georgian team has achieved success in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 world championships held in Indiana, Phoenix, New-Mexico, Atlanta.
